Capeverdean sophomore guard Ivan Almeida who went scoreless in the first half, contributed with nine points, eight rebounds and three assists, all in the second half, to help Stonehill erase a six-point (30-24) halftime deficit.
Stonehill, winners of seven-straight, remains in first place in the Conference standings with an undefeated NE-10 mark.
Almeida returns to action next Saturday when Stonehill hosts Post University for a non-conference clash in Merkert Gymnasium at 2 p.m.
