Basketball: Shelly DePina on fire for Bridgewater State College

Sophomore forward Shelly DePina (New Bedford, MA) racked up 15 points with a game-high nine rebounds to help lead Bridgewater State College to a 71-52 victory over Worcester State at the Lancer Gymnasium in MASCAC Women's Basketball action. With this victory BSC (8-7) improves to 4-0 in MASCAC conference play and are winners of five straight games.
Last week DePina posted a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds, to lead the BSC women's basketball team to a 73-62 MASCAC victory over Fitchburg State.
